My recent solo exhibition at The Connacht Hotel Galway, December 2019.

It was all systems go for my recent solo exhibition at The Connacht Hotel Galway. All my organisational skills came to the fore, from booking the venue, preparing the setup for the exhibition , negotiating with the relevant people regarding advertising, times of exhibition etc. Once all the backround was in place, and my jitters had abaited, I opened the doors to the people who came to view my work, to which I am most thankful, as the weather in December can be inclement. I was delighted with the buzz in the room on launch night and thereafter. Im very grateful to Dr Geraldine Simmi, who launched my exhibition. She gave it her personal touch, she is a fantastic orator, and a great friend. She is aware of my artistic journey and is such a great support of my artistic endeavour. I am also grateful to my friends and the public, who came out to support me, it meant so much. Last but not least, I thank my hubby Larry, he is my constant, always there with a helping hand and encouragement.

I am delighted that my original  paintings, prints and cards, made their way to new homes, just in time for Christmas. My aim is to bring joy to those who view my work, and I am honoured that they are adorning the walls of their homes.

My work encompasses Landscapes, Seascapes, Abstracts and Portraiture. I am influenced  by my surroundings  living in my scenic Galway on the Wild Atlantic Way. My works are created in my studio at my home in Galway. As I am writing this now, Galway is getting ready for the launch on February 8th of  Galway 2020 The European Capital Of Culture 2020. We Galwegians are all a buzz showcasing our beloved city, of Art and Culture on the world stage.

I invite you to browse my website, you may see a painting  of the many iconic sites of our warm welcoming and vibrant city, that speaks to your heart.

Until next time,
